A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision at the junction of Gresley Way and Lanterns Lane in Stevenage.
Police were called to the incident around 11.40am, and an ambulance and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were also dispatched. The woman, who was a pedestrian, was flown to the Royal London Hospital. A lorry was also involved in the collision.
Roads were closed for approximately two hours but re-opened at around 1.40pm.
