TICKETS have gone on sale for a charity ball next month, hosted by Welwyn Hatfield’s mayor.
The Mayor’s Charity Banquet and Ball will take place at The Old Palace at Hatfield House on Saturday, February 9.
There will be a three course meal, live band and charity raffle to entertain guests.
The event is in aid of the charities supported by mayor Councillor Helen Bromley – Dogs for the Disabled, WGC Support Group, and Home Start Welwyn Hatfield.
Councillor Bromley said: “I hope people will come along to help us raise money for such worthwhile charities, while having an enjoyable night out.
“In addition, all the guests will receive a free photograph after the event as a memento of the evening.”
Arrival is from 6pm, and there will be dancing until midnight. The dress code is formal evening wear.
Tickets priced at £49.50 can be booked at www.welhat.gov.uk, or by calling 01707 357419.
