League 2 sides among those reportedly interested in Stevenage’s Spanish striker
Reports suggest that York City are lining up a bid for Stevenage frontman Dani Lopez.
The Minstermen are thought to have joined fellow League 2 sides Plymouth Argyle and Portsmouth, plus newly promoted League 1 outfit Rotherham United, in making an enquiry for the Spanish striker.
Lopez, who was signed for Stevenage by Gary Smith last summer, had loan spells in League 2 last season with Aldershot and Barnet.
He made 11 appearances for Boro in League 1, starting seven matches and coming off the bench four times, and scored all of his three goals for the club in a 4-0 win over Sheffield United in March.
