BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) is carrying out an investigation into reports that bike wheels at a railway station may have been tampered with.
The incident was reported to BTP at 8pm on Sunday.
The victim left his bike at the rack around 11.30am, when he returned, he discovered the wheels on his bike, and four others in the rack, had been deflated.
A BTP spokesman said: “Officers are currently carrying out an investigation into the incident, including locating any available CCTV and speaking to witnesses.“If you saw anything suspicious at the cycle racks on Sunday, or if you have any information, please come forward.”
