A pub has had its licence reviewed following complaints about noise and anti-social behaviour.
The Bedford Arms, on Bedford Road in Hitchin, has had the terms of its licence modified by North Herts District Council’s licensing committee following complaints from residents.
Cllr Bernard Lovewell, North Herts District Council’s portfolio holder for housing and environmental health, said: “The changes aim to protect people residing in Bedford Road and prevent a minority of Bedford Arms customers from becoming a public nuisance.”
One of the changes made to the licence has been for the pub to stop live and recorded music no later than 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, instead of midnight.
