A Comet country pub has won two awards for prquality beer and cider.
The Engineers Arms in Henlow won the Bedfordshire Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) pub of the year 2014 and Bedfordshire Cider Pub of the year 2014.
Owners Kevin Machin and Claire Sturgeon have run the pub as a free house for the past 25 years.
Mr Machin said: “We were elated to win these awards. It’s a reward for all of the hard work the staff have put in.
“We’ve run this pub for 25 years and I think we offer a great range of beer. Our staff have a real knowledge about our product which customers really appreciate.”
