Striker is one of eight players including goalkeeper Steve Arnold and forward Jordan Burrow let go by Boro
Stevenage have released a further eight players including top scorer Francois Zoko.
The striker joined the club in October before signing a contract extension in January until the end of the season.
Steve Arnold, Matt Ball, Anthony Furlonge, Oumare Tounkara and Dani Lopez have all left the club.
Michael Thalassitis, who suffered knee ligament damage in his last game of the season for Ebbsfleet United and faces up to nine months on the sidelines, has also departed, while Jordan Burrow, a striker manager Graham Westley said in December was going to be ‘one hell of a player’, has also been let go.
