Five people have been charged with robbery and attempted robbery after a mobile phone was allegedly stolen.
Police were called at around 9.30pm on Tuesday following a report of a robbery at an address in Sharps Court, Cooks Way, in Hitchin.
An iPhone 5s was allegedly stolen from a 26-year-old man.
Carl Ferrance, 27, from Stevenage, Wess Kid, 20, from Stevenage, Luke Lacey, 23, from Stevenage, Courdel Reid, 20, from Hitchin and Tafadzwa Rufuse, 21 of no fixed abode appeared at Hatfield Remand Court yesterday, Thursday, and have been remanded into custody.
