A dancing troupe were the stars of one of London’s most famous venues on Saturday night.
The Stephanie Prior School of Dancing put 44 students of all ages on show at the Royal Albert Hall to dance in front of an audience of 400.
Principal Tara Prior was approached by production company Mardi Gras to put forward a troupe from the Royston school for the evening of dance.
Tara said: “Choreographing a five-minute routine in a circular building, where there is no fixed focal point for the audience, was one of my toughest challenges to date.
“The students worked extremely hard, showing true dedication and enthusiasm for the school and the event.
“It was an amazing evening and a wonderful opportunity for all the dancers.”
The school is now setting its sights on its biennial show at Stevenage’s Gordon Craig Theatre in October, when 200 students will take part in another evening of dance and entertainment.
