Science and engineering firm DuPont has sold its offices in Stevenage and is now looking for alternative accommodation.
The company has been based in Wedgewood Way since the 1980s but sold the building because it no longer needed the space.
A spokesman for the firm said: “Once our new location is confirmed, all DuPont staff currently at the facility in Wedgewood Way will move to the new premises.”
Developer Frontier Estates plans to build 200 new homes, a shopping parade, parking and play areas on the site and is asking people to give their views on the plans ahead of a planning application.
