The people of Stevenage donned their finest frocks while performers showed off their talent in a fantastic evening of fundraising for two children’s charity.
The Children’s Trust and Kadoma Kidz, a charity which helps disadvantaged children in the Zimbabwean city, teamed up to put on Stevenage Has Talent earlier this month.
The night featured 10 acts from a variety of performers and was won by singer JayDee who gave his prize to the charities.
Stacy Gibb helped organise the event and said: “It was a massive success. We are so thankful to the many, many people who came out to support us. We raised a fantastic £1,500 – which will go a long way in helping children not only in Africa but here at home as well.”
The prize money will be split equally between the two charities.
