There were plenty of smiles at The Highfield School in Letchworth this morning as students picked up their A-level results.
The majority of students secured their first choice university places, with several being accepted into Russell group universities, including Cambridge.
Star performers including Ben Harrop, Matej Huang, Louise Oldham, David Sutcliffe and Natalie Williams who all received two A*s and an A, and Sarah Anthony who picked up one A* and two As.
Deputy headteacher Caitlin Macrae said: “These are fantastic results for our students.
“We are thrilled with their well-deserved success and look forward to hearing about their continued achievements at university and in their chosen careers.”
