A woman in her 60s has been injured after an altercation with a driver in Letchworth.
Police are appealing for information about the incident, which took place outside Barclays bank in Broadway at about 10pm on Thursday, October 29, when the woman was crossing the road with another man from Letchworth Railway Station.
After the altercation the driver – who is described as a white man aged between 30 and 40, of medium build, 5ft 8in tall and with dark clothing – got back into his white, three-door hatchback and drove away.
PC Andrew Burnett said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who thinks they know who the driver might be, to get in contact with me via the non-emergency number 101.”
