Baldock shoppers are in for a treat today as a continental market comes to town for the first time since May.
The High Street will be packed with 20 stalls featuring traders from France, Italy, Spain, Morocco and beyond between 9am and 5pm.
As usual, the stalls will feature a varied array of enticing French and continental merchandise, including delicatessen charcuterie and cured meat, French cheeses, saucisson, crepes, bread and snacks, Spanish paella and fajitas, Moroccan couscous, Italian confectionery and much more.
And it isn’t just edible goodies on offer – the market will also feature Italian cotton clothing, accessories, jewellery and crafts, along with aromatic soaps from Marseille, Turkish delight, as well as glass, china and pottery.
