Manager leaves Huish Park after eight months in charge
Paul Sturrock has been sacked by Yeovil Town ahead of this weekend’s visit of Stevenage in the FA Cup.
The former Southend United and Plymouth Argyle boss took over the Glovers in April but leaves them at the foot of League Two following Saturday’s defeat at Northampton Town.
The Glovers have suffered back-to-back relegations in the last two seasons, dropping from the Championship to League Two.
Stevenage drew 2-2 at Yeovil on November 14, and Boro are due back at Huish Park this weekend in the second round of the FA Cup.
