With 2015 coming to an end tonight when the clock strikes midnight, we’ve taken a look back at the year with a gallery of pictures which have featured in the Comet between January and December.
There were many high profile events to savour, including Stage 4 of The Women’s Tour which finished in Stevenage, Hitchin’s Rhythms of the World and fellow music festival Balstock – which marked its 10th birthday in Baldock this year.
Flooding in July caused havoc across the area, while a severe fire in rural North Herts also made headlines.
We’ve also lost many well-known faces, with the world’s most tattooed pensioner – Isobel Varley – and John ‘Mr Letchworth’ Stoddard among those who have sadly passed away in 2015.
