Crowds gathered to watch as a hot air balloon landed in Stevenage town centre earlier this evening.
Spectators were left a little surprised as the unexpected visitor landed at about 8pm in Danestrete.
Jeremy Williams said: “I saw it from my window, so went out to have a look. A small crowd gathered to watch it being rolled up with the help.
“Someone says it just ran out of wind and made a controlled landing in the road.”
A crew from Stevenage Fire Station assisted.
