Stevenage MP Stephen McPartland met with top executives at Lloyds Bank executives to give a business speech – and backed Twin Towns 1000k riders who were picked as one of the bank’s two chosen charities.
The cyclists are raising £100,000 for the Lister Hospital by riding across Europe this summer.
Mr McPartland said: “It’s fantastic Lloyds are supporting them. It’s important we get businesses behind such superb causes.”
Graham Hoare and Neil Trebble gave a well-received presentation on the group’s impressive aims to help raise money for the hospital.
Dani Burge from the Stevenage FC Foundation, Lloyds’ other chosen charity, also gave a great presentation.
Lloyds relationship director Steve McQueen added: “It was a great opportunity to showcase positive work.”
