A thief convicted of stealing a gold necklace, a watch and a camera in Stevenage failed to appear in court for sentence yesterday – and police have now launched an appeal to track him down.
Daniel Pateman, 34, of no fixed address, is wanted for breaching his bail conditions, as well as failing to appear in court to answer charges of theft and a Section 5 public order offence.
He is believed to be in the Stevenage area.
Pateman had been set to appear for sentence at Stevenage Magistrates’ Court yesterday, after being convicted on March 7 of stealing a gold necklace, a watch and a camera from three different people in the town last year.
Anyone who sees him, or has any information about his whereabouts, should call police immediately on 101.
