A team of staff from a Biggleswade school for pupils with special educational needs completed a 10-mile charity challenge to raise almost £450 for charity.
The 10 staff members from Ivel Valley School took on the all-ladies MK Midnight Moo walk in Milton Keynes last Saturday night in aid of Willen Hospice.
They wore fancy dress in line with the walk theme of gold, marking a half-century since MK was founded – and were given sweets and drinks along the way to help keep them going.
A 10-mile walk starting at midnight was tough for the fundraisers, but they finished in three hours and received a medal and breakfast at the end.
The team from the Hitchmead Road school, which accepts pupils from across Central Bedfordshire, raised a total of £442 for the Milton Keynes-based hospice.
