An air ambulance landed on King George V Playing Fields in Stevenage this morning to attend to a man who collapsed in a town centre shop.
The casualty was inside the Thomas Cook store in Queensway when he was taken ill around shortly after the shop opened at 9am.
An air ambulance, land ambulance and police all attended.
The casualty, who is believed to be in a stable condition, was taken to the Lister Hospital by land ambulance.
