A Biggleswade supermarket was broken into on Sunday night in an unsuccessful burglary attempt.
The shop window of the Kings Reach Sainsbury’s in Sullivan Court was smashed by three men – allowing them to gain entry at around 11.30pm.
They unsuccessfully attempted to break into the cigarette and alcohol counter before fleeing the scene in a black car.
Investigating officer Det Cons Dave Brecknock said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who might have information relating to this attempted break-in.
“We are currently following a number of lines of enquiry and would urge anyone who may be able to help to get in touch.”
