A tree has been blown down by strong winds and blocked a road in Letchworth.
Police were called at 1.55pm to Ridge Avenue, where the tree had been knocked down, causing damage to a car.
The tree was moved by officers.
A yellow weather warning for wind will be in place between 6pm tomorrow and 9am on Friday, affecting North Herts and Stevenage.
The Met Office website says there is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, and falling trees and branches.
