Four people were rearrested this morning on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in connection with the disappearance of Gosmore man William ‘Bill’ Taylor.

Three men – aged 18, 22 and 53 – and a 52-year-old woman from Hitchin remain in police custody at this time.

They had all previously been arrested on suspicion of murder, conspiracy to murder, arson, and conspiracy to commit arson in connection with a vehicle fire at William’s home. They had been released on bail.

Significant enquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding William’s murder and efforts are on-going to locate his body.
