A man was arrested in Stevenage yesterday after allegedly wielding knives around the town centre.
Herts police received a number of calls at about 1.15pm on March 9 from members of the public about a man allegedly holding one or more bladed implements.
Witnesses report that the knives were meat cleavers, and armed police rushed to the scene.
They arrested an individual in the town centre - a clip of officers surrounding a man circulated social media shortly after the event.
No-one was hurt during the incident.
