The Big Spring Clean in Hitchin is set to return, following on from the success of last year's event.
Last year's effort - organised by Hitchin Forum - to clean up some of the town's worst litter hot spots produced a final total of well over 100 bags of rubbish.
More than 120 participants took part across a total of 15 sites.
Organiser Bill Sellicks said: "Our autumn clean-up last year was very popular as things started to have a more normal feel.
"Once again, we hope the spring event will again be an enjoyable occasion for everybody.
"Although we should not be complacent, because it is an open air activity the litter pick poses a very low risk from the point of view of COVID.
"There’s still just time to register your interest, so if you would like to join us, please get in touch by emailing email hflitterpick@gmail.com."
The Big Spring Clean will take place on March 20.
