A charity dedicated to creating libraries for deprived communities in Kenya has launched a prize draw to help fund its next project, giving entrants the chance to win a holiday for two to the African country.
Just Be A Child was set up by Stevenage resident Lenka McAlinden in 2013 following a trip to Kenya, and sends shipping containers filled with donated secondhand books to the African country, where they are transformed into volunteer-led libraries and learning centres.
To help fund its eighth library, JBAC has launched a prize draw. Lenka said: "We’ve secured an exciting partnership with Kenya Airways that provides two return flights and a seven-day stay for two at a beautiful oceanfront hotel. We are using the amazing holiday to generate much-needed funds."
Entry to the prize draw costs £5 and is open until March 27 to people aged 18 and over. Visit crowdfunder.co.uk/p/win-a-holiday-for-two-kenya to enter.
