Babies and pre-school children attending Jo Jingles music and movement classes in Hitchin, Letchworth, Shefford and Fairfield last week wore yellow and blue - the national colours of Ukraine - and took part in a range of activities with a blue and yellow theme, raising about £400 for the charity danceaid's Ukraine appeal.

Karen Garner, who owns Jo Jingles North Herts, said: “We’ve partnered with our local friends at danceaid children’s charity to help children devastated by the war in Ukraine.

"It’s been so hard to watch the trauma and suffering being endured by so many youngsters - many the same age as our own Jinglers. We just wanted to do something to help.”
