North Herts Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) in St Ippolyts has welcomed a £10,000 donation from Hitchin-based HG Construction, raised through a companywide charity fun run.
The donation will help the charity continue to provide activities and therapies for children and adults with disabilities, as well as enabling RDA to buy a defibrillator.
Frances Williams, chairman of RDA, said: “The caring and generous donation will enable our group to continue their passionate involvement with local special needs schools.
"RDA gives access to riding and horse care and encourages all children to achieve new possibilities."
Chris Benham, HG Construction's CEO, said: “We applaud the work done by RDA in enriching the lives of so many children and adults. We are delighted to support a local charity which provides such valuable experiences."
