Jordans, the Bedfordshire-based cereal people, are coming to Hitchin BuzzWorks Garden today (Wednesday) to help the beleaguered insects by planting lots of bee-friendly plants.
The project is part of The Big Buzz scheme launched by the company - a national campaign to increase bee habitats and raise awareness of the important role bees play in the environment.
Populations of bees, important to the farming industry for their pollination, have declined markedly in recent years.
The planting takes place from 2pm at the garden on Old Hale Way.
