A PUB is aiming to raise money for a children's charity with a string of events over the bank holiday weekend.
The Millstream in Hitchin is hosting a casino evening on Friday (May 1), a quiz night on Sunday and a family fun day on Monday to raise money for Caudwell Children which provides treatments and equipment to sick and disabled youngsters.
Landlord John Pope, who has held three other events for the charity this year, said: "We are looking forward to a great fun-packed weekend whilst raising money for Caudwell. The charity does so many great things for local children and as ever we are only too happy to assist.
