A FOUR-STAR hotel has been taken over by a new owner after the original proprietor went into administration.
Weeks after the Holiday Inn on St George's Way in Stevenage opened in December last year, the franchise owner - Bluebird Holdings Ltd - went into administration.
The property has now been acquired by Queensgate Hotel Ltd, which is retaining the services of management company, Chardon Management Ltd, for the day-to-day operation of the business.
General manager, Gerard Ryan, said: "The new ownership allows us to move forward with confidence.
