AN inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a Hitchin man found hanging in woodland near the town centre.
Police said today that the body of John Henchley, 41, a driver from Bucklersbury, was discovered by a member of the public at 6.51am on Sunday in woods by Windmill Hill.
The inquest was opened on Wednesday when the cause of death was given as asphyxia and suspension. A full inquest will be held at a later date.
