A netball tournament in memory of a young girl who died of cancer raised 1,700 at the weekend.
The event on Saturday was the idea of Lauren Cunningham, 23, of Bedford Road, Letchworth GC, in memory of her friend Natalie Brooks, who died aged just 16 in October 2003.
They were both pupils at Fearnhill School in Letchworth GC and played for the school's netball team. At the end of the event a trophy was presented to Natalie's mother Julia.
All the money raised will go to Cancer Research UK.
