A MAN was taken to hospital this morning after a road crash which stopped traffic for two hours.
The driver of white Isuzu lorry carrying dairy products was taken to Lister Hospital with minor injuries after a collision with a green Vauxhall Passat on Highbury Road in Hitchin shortly before 6.30am.
He was treated at the scene by a passing Hertfordshire paramedic.
An oil and diesel spillage forced the emergency services to close the road while fire fighters cleaned up and the lorry was taken away.
The road was open again by 8.30am.
