POLICE will take no further action against four teenagers arrested on suspicion of murder after a 21-year-old man died following a fire in a store cupboard.
Daniel Body died from smoke inhalation after he became trapped in a small cupboard in the grounds of a block of flats in Archer Road, Stevenage.
The incident happened last month and two girls, aged 16 and 17, and two 19-year-old men from Stevenage were arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed until today (Monday).
Following fire and police investigations no further action will be taken against the four, who are believed to have known Mr Body - a Stevenage resident.
Police are now treating the incident as an accident and the case file has been passed to the coroner, who has yet to open an inquest into Mr Body's death.
