A Hitchin man who died after falling down the stairs at a snooker club last week has been named.
A spokesman for the Herts coroner said today that Antony Connelly of Nightingale Road died of subdural haematoma (subject to confirmation of an inquest) caused by a traumatic head injury at Hitchin Snooker and Pool last Friday afternoon.
Mr Connelly, also known as Wayne, was 64.
