SOME tenants in properties owned by North Hertfordshire Homes will have their rents reduced from April while others will have to pay slightly more.
Annual increases are calculated using a set government formula based on the previous September Retail Price Index inflation rate, explained a spokesman.
She added: "Last year this was below zero due to the credit crunch. This year's rent rise is set to result in an average increase of 1.3 per cent compared to last year's average rise of 5.5 per cent, with some households actually receiving a rent reduction.
