A 50-year-old Stevenage man remains in a critical condition in a London hospital almost two weeks after suffering head injuries following a fight in Mobbsbury Way in the town, say police.
The incident happened on March 26 at 11.55pm. The victim was taken to Lister Hospital and later transferred to the Royal Free Hospital in London where he is still in intensive care.
Kane Heads, 19, of Shephall Green, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody. He will appear before Luton Crown Court on June 26 for a plea and case management hearing.
A man in his 40s who suffered serious injuries to his chest and face after being assaulted the following evening outside the White Lion in Stevenage High Street was discharged from Lister Hospital on Friday.
A 30-year-old Stevenage man who was arrested in connection with the incident remains on police bail until April 26 pending further enquiries.
