CONSERVATIVE leader David Cameron was heckled by BNP supporters when he visited the maternity unit at Lister Hospital in Stevenage on Saturday.
Cameron, accompanied by the Conservative's prospective parliamentary candidate for Stevenage Stephen McPartland, spoke with staff and new mothers at the unit.
According to national press, a small group of BNP supporters attempted to disrupt the visit with vocal protests of 'British jobs for British workers', but Cameron refused to acknowledge their presence.
The same day, Cameron was confronted by about 75 BNP members, including leader Nick Griffin, in Dagenham.
