POLICE are on the scene of a robbery at a jeweller’s in Stevenage.
Police were called at 11.10am today (Thursday) to Lourdes Gold House in Market Place by an off-duty officer who was witnessing a robbery at the store.
The offenders have made off with a number of items, and a search for them is underway.
A staff member has been taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage with head injuries.
Police have placed a cordon around the crime scene.
