The Girl Who Played with Fire - Certificate 15
THE second of Stieg Larsson’s enormously popular trilogy, The Girl Who Played With Fire follows the brilliant Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and features the same actors.
The film involves the double homicide of Millennium Magazine writers who are working on a story about a sex-trafficking ring.
Forensic evidence places the blame for both these murders, as well as the killing of a parole officer, on Lisbeth Salander and the police begin hunting her.
She in turn is tracking down the man she believes to be the real killer, a mysterious underworld crime lord known only as “Zala”.
This is a sharply-written, superbly acted and fast-paced film with enough twists and turns in the story to keep you glued throughout.
