THE voting turnout for the Stevenage council elections has been announced.
Both the Stevenage Borough Council elections and the referendum on changing the voting system saw a turnout of 41.83 per cent.
Counting for each of the 13 ward elections began at 1pm in Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre with results expected in the next hour.
Votes for the referendum will be counted from 4pm.
