Boro renew interest in striker after January bid was rebuffed by Grimsby Town
Stevenage are reportedly competing with Luton Town for the signature of Alan Connell.
Boro had a bid of around 65,000 rebuffed by Grimsby Town in January but are believed to have renewed their interest in the 28-year-old ex-Bournemouth front man this summer, whilst Hatters boss Gary Brabin confirmed last week that he likes the look of Connell but has yet to make a bid for him.
Stevenage have signed one striker this summer - Guy Madjo - but are in the market for a second striker to boost their attacking options ahead of the new season.
