Racing superstar Lewis Hamilton was back in his hometown on Wednesday night – treating a trio of ladies to dinner.
The FI racer who was born and brought up in Stevenage was back in the town treating what staff said were older family members to a chicken feast in Nando’s on the Leisure Park.
Assistant manager Jonathon Davies said: “The girls were a bit flustered. He was very polite, very well brought up, one of the girls said.”
Manager Valentino Vasiliou added: “We tried to get all the girls and the rest of the customers away, they were a bit star-struck, but we did get some photographs and autographs.”
Lewis spent around an hour and a quarter at the restaurant before a car picked him up at around 8.15pm.
