SEAN O’Driscoll will not be taking up the vacant manager’s position at Stevenage after accepting a role with npower Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest.
Former Doncaster Rovers boss O’Driscoll had been linked with the Boro job following Graham Westley’s departure to Preston North End last Friday but has penned a deal with the Tricky Trees that will see him become manager Steve Cotterill’s first team coach.
Boro have a shortlist of six managers who they would like to interview with the post with Paul Ince, Paul Buckle and Gary Smith said to be among those candidates.
