BURGLARS made off with photographs, important documents and a digital camera, after breaking into a house on Wednesday.
The house, in Ninesprings Way, Hitchin, was burgled between 4pm and 7.30pm.
A pane of glass in the front door was broken to gain entry. No-one was home at the time.
A police spokesman said that enquiries were ongoing. Anyone with information can call the police non-emergency number 101.
