HITCHIN British Schools Museum has joined forces with one of the town’s biggest employers.
LV= initiated a partnership with the museum, and as well as its backing, has handed over a cheque for 300 and a plaque.
Andy Gibbs, museum manager, said: “This is great news for all the volunteers and staff here at the museum who work so hard to protect this important heritage site and its collections.
“Partnerships such as this really help us to maintain our outstanding schools programme and to continue to offer lifelong learning, work experience and volunteering opportunities for all ages.”
