Flooding hit properties in Stevenage yesterday evening as heavy rain continued.
Six properties in Bronte Paths were evacuated as water entered homes just after 6.30pm.
Fire crews stemmed the flow before pumping out water. The properties were cleared by 7.45pm.
A property in Downlands was also flooded. The fire service was called at 6.15pm and isolated the electricity supply before clearing the water from the home.
Flooding also hit Fairlands Way which was cordoned off by police yesterday evening.
