HOSPICE workers will be out in force from tomorrow (Monday) as part of a nationwide awareness initiative.
Garden House Hospice in Letchworth GC will be one of more than 100 hospices across the UK taking part in this year’s Hospice Care Week which runs from tomorrow until next Sunday, October 14.
“This Hospice Care Week, we want to tell everyone in North Hertfordshire that your local hospice is here for you, and that our care is tailored to the needs, wishes and culture of each individual and their families and carers,” said general manager Jenny Lupton.
Members of the Hospice team will be visiting Lister Hospital in Stevenage on Monday and Tuesday, Stevenage and Baldock on Wednesday, Letchworth GC and Hitchin on Thursday before finishing at Waitrose in Stevenage on Friday.
